Design of shaft sealing device for mixing electric heating reaction vessel kettle

During the reaction process, if the mixing electric heating reaction vessel kettle has a medium leak, it will not only cause material waste, but also cause environmental pollution. Especially the leakage of flammable, explosive, highly toxic and corrosive media can endanger personal safety and equipment safety. Therefore, it is very important to select a reasonable sealing device during the design of the reactor.

According to whether there is relative movement between the sealing surfaces, the shaft sealing device of the stirring electric heating reaction kettle can be divided into two categories: static sealing and dynamic sealing. For stirred reactors, the flange faces are relatively stationary and the seal between them is a static seal. The shaft sealing device used in the reactor mainly has two kinds of packing seals and mechanical seals.

If a packing seal is used, it is necessary to select according to the characteristics of the medium in the stirred electric heating reactor, the operating pressure, the operating temperature, the diameter of the shaft, the number of revolutions, and the like. For low pressure (PN ≤ 0.2MPa), non-toxic media, non-flammable and explosive, you can use general asbestos rope, butter when installed, or oil-impregnated asbestos filler. For higher pressure or medium toxic and flammable and explosive, the most commonly used graphite asbestos filler and rubber asbestos filler.
